Coming from modest backgrounds, yet driven by an undeniable need for speed, SIMAGIC’s journey began. Despite having some talent in real-life racing, the lack of funds to support that passion kept the dream just out of reach, as real motorsports remained beyond the reach of many. However, the drive to improve skills and find an affordable yet effective way to practice never wavered.
The question arose, “How can this goal be achieved in the most immersive way possible?”
In 2018, fueled by this passion and equipped with advanced degrees in engineering and control systems, SIMAGIC was founded. The mission was clear: develop the ideal wheelbase. It had to be direct drive for unmatched realism but still affordable. Easy to use, built with high-quality, long-lasting components, and crafted with real carbon fiber and metal where possible. With Shenzhen, the Silicon Valley of the East, as the base of operations, SIMAGIC had access to the resources and talent needed to make this vision a reality.
While working on this project, the idea emerged: why not create a motorsports-grade QR system, just like those used in real race cars? This had never been done before, so SIMAGIC developed new methods of power delivery and data communication to make it happen. The result was a groundbreaking QR system that quickly became beloved and widely imitated in the sim racing world.
In August 2018, the M10 was introduced to the world, and SIMAGIC quickly gained recognition among sim racers. The company became the subject of memes, cementing its place in the community.
Since then, SIMAGIC’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Over the past four years, the company has introduced the GT Wheel Series, FX Wheel Series, Servo Base Series, Pedals, Sequential Shifter, handbrakes, and more. The SIMAGIC ecosystem is only just beginning.
